According to a study conducted by the FSB Pesquisa Institute for the F5 Business Growth consultancy, referring to the maturities of companies on the topic and trends for the next year, although 70% of business leaders understand that Digital Transformation is a relevant topic for 2022, only 37% consider themselves able to execute it.
The survey was carried out with more than 400 entrepreneurs and CEOs from all economic sectors and regions of Brazil, including medium and large companies.
In addition to assessing the maturity of companies in relation to Digital Transformation, the mapping aimed to use as an indicator the adoption of practices for the next year.

Among the priorities of the leaders' digital agenda for 2022 are cloud computing (59%), the internet of things (39%) and cybersecurity (31%).
Another highlighted aspect was the low adherence of leaders to the practices of the so-called Open Innovation. Four out of five of the companies surveyed do not have any relationship with startups and only 18% of them plan to build it in 2022. Corporate Venture Capitals do not appear prominently either, being mentioned by only 3% of the leaders.

The survey reveals that on a scale of 0-10, the best practices that leaders claim to know and put into practice today are: “Understanding what speed represents a competitive advantage” (8.4) followed by “Ability to make decisions based on data” (8.0) and, tied, “Knowledge of customers' consumption habits” (7.3) and “Culture of experimentation (7.3)”. “At least in theory, leaders demonstrate that they know what to do.
